Benoît Coquart est né le 30 novembre 1973. C’est un dirigeant d’entreprise connu pour être le directeur général du groupe Legrand, spécialiste des infrastructures électriques et numériques du bâtiment, depuis février 2018.
Benoît Coquart est diplômé de l'institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris) et de l'ESSEC.

En 1997, il rejoint Legrand dès la fin de ses études. Il prend en charge la responsabilité des activités du groupe en Corée du Sud.
Il occupe ensuite divers postes de direction au sein du groupe avec succès. Il prend notamment en charge le poste de responsable des relations investisseurs.

Membre du comité de direction de Legrand depuis 2010, Benoît Coquart est nommé directeur général de Legrand le 8 février 2018, après la dissociation de la fonction de président directeur général. L’objectif de celle-ci est de permettre aux deux fonctions d’être exercées pleinement et au groupe de poursuivre son développement dans les meilleures conditions. Il succède à Gilles Schnepp, qui conserve la présidence du conseil d'administration du groupe Legrand.
Benoît Coquart a été initialement l'un des acteurs clés de la transformation numérique du groupe Legrand. Chargé depuis 2010 de la stratégie et du développement, il avait aussi pour mission d’assurer la digitalisation du groupe. Il a notamment soutenu Eliot, un vaste programme de recherche et développement, industriel et marketing. Celui-ci est dédié aux objets connectés et a pour objectif d’accélérer la digitalisation de l’offre du groupe.
En quelques années, cet effort lié au numérique a fait passer le budget de dépenses marketing dans le digital de 4% il y a cinq ans à 20% en 2018. Avec neuf rachats d’entreprises spécialisées en dix ans, Benoît Coquart a réussi à bâtir une position forte et internationale dans les infrastructures numériques. Grâce à ce succès, il a été nommé dans la catégorie Smart Boss aux Trophées des industries numériques en octobre 2015.
Après sa nomination en tant que directeur général du groupe en 2018, Benoît Coquart a indiqué que le groupe Legrand allait continuer à évoluer mais que ses fondamentaux allaient rester inchangés.

L’objectif de Benoît Coquart est d’axer le développement du groupe sur les infrastructures numériques, l'efficacité énergétique, les produits connectés, les centres de données et l'assistance à l'autonomie.

Benoît Potier est né le 3 septembre 1957 à Mulhouse. Il est actuellement Président directeur général d’Air Liquide.

Dans sa jeunesse, Il a étudié au Lycée privé Sainte-Geneviève. Puis, il a suivi le cursus de l’École Centrale des Arts et Manufactures de Paris et en est sorti diplômé en tant qu’ingénieur en 1979. Il a par ailleurs poursuivi sa formation au cours de sa carrière en étant élève à l’INSEAD (l’Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires). En effet, il s’est rendu compte qu’il possédait des lacunes en gestion et qu’il fallait les combler. C’est la raison pour laquelle il a tenu à décrocher un MBA (Master of Business Administration) dans cette école. Il débute sa carrière chez Air Liquide en 1981. Son premier poste est celui d’ingénieur d’études au sein de la division Recherche & développement.

En 1993, il obtient la place de Directeur de la stratégie et de l’organisation. En 1994, il devient Directeur des marchés de la grande industrie. Il dirige alors la branche Chimie, sidérurgie, raffinage et énergie. Puis, l’année suivante, en 1995, il obtient la place de Directeur général adjoint, chargé du développement et des opérations grande industrie du groupe Air Liquide.

Benoît Potier poursuit son ascension au sein du groupe en devenant en 1997 Directeur général d’Air Liquide. Puis, il obtient la place d’Administrateur d’Air Liquide en 2000. Ensuite, il est nommé Président du Directoire d’Air Liquide en 2001. En 2006, ses 25 années d’expérience sont récompensées car il obtient le siège de Président directeur général d’Air Liquide.

Sa vision pour Air Liquide est celle de l’innovation continue. Il tente en permanence de renouveler le groupe. Il a d’ailleurs obtenu le prix du « Stratège de l’année 2008 ». Ce prix vise à récompenser une personnalité du monde de l’entreprise qui a su améliorer la rentabilité de son groupe. Concrètement, il désire orienter le groupe vers les énergies renouvelables (gaz naturel, biométhane et hydrogène). Benoît Potier est très engagé dans l’hydrogène. Il est d’ailleurs administrateur de The Hydrogen Company.

En parallèle d’Air Liquide, il a différentes responsabilités hors du groupe. Ainsi, il est administrateur de Danone. En effet, il occupe la place de Président du Comité stratégique et membre du Comité des nominations et rémunérations. Il est aussi membre du Comité des nominations de Siemens AG. Enfin, il est membre de l’AFEP (Association française des entreprises privées).
