In the past Ms. Gharbi held the position of Executive Vice President-Services & Equipment at Schlumberger NV.

She received an undergraduate degree from École Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen and a graduate degree from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble.
