Ms. Gahan joined Catamount Ventures in 2007.
Most recently, she was Principal at CenterPoint Ventures, a venture capital firm located in Austin and Dallas, focused on early stage information technology startups in Texas.
While at CenterPoint, she helped expand the firm's focus to include emerging media channels such as RSS and other consumer focused sectors such as mobile content distribution.
Before beginning her venture capital career in 2002, she was a member of the Office of the Chairman at Dell Inc. In this role, she explored new consumer electronics markets into which the company eventually expanded, was responsible for communications between the Office of the Chairman and the Board of Directors, and engaged in various other corporate strategy and coporate development initiatives.
She has also held positions with McKinsey & Company and the Strategy division of Accenture.
Ms. Gahan received academic honors at both Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges and Harvard Business School, from which she was awarded B.A. and M.B.A. degrees respectively.
