Mr. Seth A. Katz is a Partner & Head of Investments at Summit Trail Advisors LLC.
He leads Summit Trail’s efforts in private equity, direct investments, and overall manager research.
He has built, invested, and advised on multi-asset class investment portfolios globally on behalf of endowments, family offices, and international institutional investors.
Prior to joining Summit Trail, Mr. Katz was Head of Manager Research and Selection in the US for Barclays, responsible for long-only, hedge fund and private assets due diligence while also serving as its Global Head of Private Assets Investment Due Diligence.
Previously, he founded Henry Street Analytics, a private equity analytics platform, served as a Principal and Director of Fund of Funds at Pomona Capital, and was the Manager of Private Investments at the Rockefeller University Endowment.
He began his career at von Braun & Schreiber Private Equity Partners, in Munich, Germany.
Mr. Katz has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University.
