Mr. Liam Halligan is Chief Economist at Prosperity Capital Management (RF) Ltd.
Mr Halligan was a founding board member of the Russian Prosperity Fund and Prosperity Cub Fund.
He first lived in Russia in the mid-1990s - setting up the Russian-European Centre for Economic Policy, advising various ministers and co-founding Russian Economic Trends, the country’s first independent data source.
In recent years, Mr Halligan has combined his interest in Russia with journalism - working at The Economist, Financial Times and Channel 4 News.
Now back at PCM full time, he still writes regular financial commentaries for various international publications.
Mr Halligan has a First Class BSc.
(Econ) from Warwick University and an M.Phil (Econ) from Oxford University.
He has held research posts at the IMF and the London School of Economics.
He is a British and Irish national.
