From 2000 to 2002, he was employed as managing director/division head/partner by Amherst Securities, where he spearheaded the creation an agency trading division.
From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Barry was employed by Sovereign Bank as managing director/division head to increase the sales revenue and trading product mix within its Securities division.
He was responsible for the creation of an Agency and Certificate of Deposit trading group that distributed more than $15BB annually.
In October 2005, he founded Bonds.com, a FINRA registered broker dealer and a licensed Alternative Trading System.
As Chairman and CEO, he ushered the company through its initial period of growth, developing relationships and adding 2,200 accounts in the span of two years.
He served as President, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman from June 2006 until February 2010.
Mr. Barry was later a Senior Managing Director for AK Capital where he was in charge of the underwriting of GSE debt and the trading of agency paper in the secondary markets.
Mr. Barry received a BS degree in Psychology from Georgetown University in 1994.
