Re:Notice of disclosure filed in Caterpillar Inc.'s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 under Section 219 of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 and Section 13(r) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Pursuant to Section 219 of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 and Section 13(r) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, notice is hereby provided that Caterpillar Inc. has made disclosure pursuant to such provisions in its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2021, which was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 5, 2021.
Caterpillar Inc. est le 1er producteur mondial de matériels de construction et d'exploitation minière, de moteurs diesel et à gaz naturel, et de turbines à gaz industrielles. Le CA par activité se répartit comme suit :
- vente d'engins et de moteurs (94,2%) : engins de terrassement et de construction (pelleteuses, élévateurs, bulldozers, etc.), tracteurs agricoles et forestiers, moteurs et turbines (destinés aux poids lourds, aux bateaux, aux machines industrielles et aux centrales électriques), systèmes de trains de roulement, circuits et composants hydrauliques, etc. ;
- prestations de services financiers (5,2%) ;
- autres (0,6%).
La répartition géographique du CA est la suivante : Amérique du Nord (51,6%), Europe-Afrique-Moyen Orient (20,4%), Asie-Pacifique (18,1%) et Amérique latine (9,9%).
